About Drupal

In search for the best content management system for a vast variety of information, I made lots of research on CMS and prepared reports including requirements, features and comparisons. Combining the results with the strong recommendation of a friend, I met with Drupal. In my opinion, Drupal is the best content management solution.

I can easily say that I adore Drupal. The more I use it, the more I appreciate every single mind who has contributed to the project.

Drupal can be simple or complex. If you want a very simple blog site manageable by anyone who can use a word processor, you can set it up in 5 minutes with Drupal. If you want a huge network of interconnected websites with lots of functionality, it is also fine with Drupal. Drupal works very nice out-of-the-packet, yet you can customize it to almost any extend.

I also had to consider the safety issues, reliability and continuity. I believe Drupal is one of the best choices considering these issues.

What can I do with Drupal?

Here is a graphic of a Drupal learning curve. (Taken from Drupal creator Dries Buytaert's site: http://buytaert.net/drupal-learning-curve)
